This floral shop is like family to us. My husband has chosen arrangements from them for years. Now, they choose for him as he is completely blind. Sometimes he just calls them and they deliver specials as if he had picked them out himself. Not only that but after a delivery, they have even given him a ride back into Story City when I was gone. This business is more like family than business.

We appreciate your feedback. We are sorry that you felt that the fees were expensive. The $4 delivery fee covers our time and expense to deliver. In this instance the recipient wasn't home during our regular business hours so we delivered at her convenience as we didn't want to leave them outside all afternoon. The sales tax of course gets paid to the State of Iowa, and the service fee is what the website charges to cover the credit card processing fees. This is not paid to us, and you can always call us directly to avoid additional fees. Hope this helps explain the charges.

My wife sent me a gift basket with meat, cheese, crackers and chocolates. ($100). The quality of the products were great! I love that some of the chocolates were Fair Trade. We can directly impact the farms the ingredients came from.

Was pleased with all over service, you were out of Gerber daisies but used roses that opened and were beautiful! However when I was able see the bouquet I sent to my daughter a few days later (Sat. AM) I was a little disappointed to see that the purple iris flowers had all died already and for the price did not feel bouquet as full as I'd expected from picture on web sight.

We try very hard to replicate the order exactly as shown on the website, but when the order is placed for same day delivery sometimes substitutions are required. For home and office delivery we design our bouquets all the way around, while the online photos show you ALL the flowers facing the front. We are known for long lasting bouquets, but some flowers just don't last as long as others. Any spring bulb flower like iris, tulips, daffodils, are short lived in comparison to other flowers like classic daisies.

We delivered 6 pink roses with purple statice and ferns in a clear vase as shown in the photo. Please keep in mind it was shown in the photo at $50 and you ordered it at $40. We did not reduce the quantity of roses, but did have less filler to work with.

Thanks for your order and review. We do our best to reproduce the bouquet as close as possible. For this order we had 3 of 4 flowers shown in the correct color (gerbera, stock & alstromeria) but did substitute the spray roses. Due to price fluctuation on flowers our online store prices reflect the higher price we may face due to availability. We were able to add more flowers to the bouquet (rather than 3 stems of stock shown we used 5, etc). Every order is filled to the full value, we have no way of refunding part of an order without cancelling the entire order. We appreciate your business.

I've used their website several times to order flowers and have always had great customer service. You can order from the beautiful arrangements pictured or telephone the store and design your own arrangement. My mother said the flowers were beautiful when they were delivered and the delivery person was very helpful giving her tips on caring for the flowers so they would remain nice for several days. The sweet delivery person even took a letter to the mailbox for my mom who had a broken leg!
